Adnan Oktar: He also had shown an important step of the Turkish-Islamic union. I have always been saying in my interviews and in my articles that there is no distinction in between a Sunni or a Shi’a and that we all are brothers in essence. I have been telling that a Shi’a can perform his prayers behind a Sunni imam and a Sunni can perform his prayers behind a Shi’a imam. This had actually been a point of dissention for centuries. And it had never happened before. Not even during the times of the Ottomans, such a thing had ever happened. That is to say a Shi’a would have never prayed behind a Sunni imam and a Sunni would have never prayed behind a Shi’a imam. This act of Mr.Ahmedinejad, his performing his prayers, his performing his prayer behind a Sunni imam, is very very meaningful. Above all it means “if a Turkish-Islamic union is to be formed, I will abide a Sunni imam, I will accept him as an Imam.” Secondly it is to say “ I will abide the managing attributes, the leadership team of this union.” This is what it means. For instance the logic that states “Sunnis and Shi’as are brothers, we do not have any distinction in between us, we have no difference between each other, we are together with you,” is thus formed. I mean it has a highly important significance. He said that himself as well. He said; “the political meaning of this is immense.” This was an important step in the Turkish-Islamic union, it was a very important sign and thus it had been realized. For instance when the Pope came to Istanbul, his standing behind the Imam as if he was performing namaz and his praying like that, was also very important. This had also been a sign that Christianity will turn into Islam, that the Christians were right to expect the return of the Prophet Jesus (as), that the Prophet Jesus would lead them to Islam when he returns. And signs similar to these are continuously happening.
AFGHANISTAN WILL ALSO TAKE PLACE IN THE TURKISH-ISLAMIC UNION
Adnan Oktar: I give the glad tidings to them all, all the Afghani nation, my Afghani brothers; a great Turkish-Islamic Union is on the way. Insha’Allah latest in ten years a great Turkish-Islamic Union will be formed and our valiant Afghani brothers will also take place in this Turkish-Islamic union. They will become a member of this great gathering, this blessed union inshaAllah. Azerbaijan will also be in this formation, so will Turkistan, Turkmenistan. So will East Turkistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and even Armenia, Georgia and Lithuania, it will embrace all of those inshaAllah. It will be an excellent union and the sorrows and the ordeals they have endured will inshaAllah be instruments to enhance their spiritual, moral and religious strength. They are gaining their profundity from these. Ordeals mature people insha’Allah. They should regard them as auspicious. The Afghani nation is maturing, flourishing and deepening with this ordeal just as the Prophet Yusuf had matured in the prison. The end will be auspicious inshaAllah.
